During
the course of the project we will provide updates on publications from
the Andes to Amazon Biodiversity Program. We have numerous scientific
manuscripts in review and in press.
Several articles were published by members of the AABP team since December
2004. We provide access to a few of these articles in PDF format through the author's page within the Our Team section. These articles are also available for purchase through the BRIT Press.

Fernando
Cornejo and John Janovec have completed their color field

this book in conjunction with their intensive botanical research and
education activities in Madre de Dios, with focus on the Los Amigos
Conservation Area.
We thank the Amazon
Conservation Association and the Moore Foundation for providing initial
funding. We thank Princeton University Press for their support in
preparation and publication of this book.
We hope to have the book done in time for publication in Late- 2008.
We are also working on two other manuscripts: The Field Guide to Mosses of
Los Amigos, Peru and the
Field Guide to Fungi of Los Amigos, Peru. The moss guide is written by
Piers Majestyk and John Janovec. The Field Guide to Macrofungi is
written by Romina Gazis, PhD candidate at Howard University. Both of these field guide give detailed descriptions and images about
the mosses and fungi that are commonly found in this area. These books are currently in the final stages of the editting process and we hope to have them completed in time for publication in 2009.
