Habitat Description: Tropical montane wet forest.
Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Epiphytic woody shrub. Branches erect. Leaves usually terminally clustered. Immature flowers erect. Mature flowers pendent. Bracts red; oval with an acuminate apex. Corolla yellow; tubular; ventricose on lower surface. Nectary usually a five-lobed gland; sometimes with a bilobed dorsal gland and three separate glands. Fruit not observed.
