Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Shrub/small tree to 2 m tall. Leaves only located on upper third of plant. Flowers in dense clusters in axils of leaves. Calyx lobes red; sometimes with small patch of green at base; cucullate. Corolla red; tubular; ventricose on dorsal surface. Nectary a bilobed gland on ventral surface. Corolla resupinate.
