Locality Description: Collected from the Greenhouse of Bob and Dee Stewart (Stow, MA). Stewart accession no. 11737. Obtained by Stewart's from Johathan Ertelt (Cheekwood BG, Nashville, TN) in April, 1987 (Cheekwood no. 77-510).
Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Shoots dorsiventral. Stems succulent. Adaxial leaf surface green. Abaxial leaf surface green with red apex. Calyx lobes green with red midvein. Corolla bilabiate; red with dark red striations. Presumably collected in Panama by J. Ertelt (Bob Stewart, personal communication - 2002). Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US). Leaf material collected for molecular systematic studies.
