Plant Notes: Terrestrial herb, stems succulent and erect, to 1.0 m tall. Abaxial leaf surface light green. Adaxial leaf surface dark green with white mid-vein; not variegated. Inflorescence axillary; subtended by a pair of large red bracts. Calyx lobes red. Corolla orangish-red with white trichomes; hypocyrtoid.
