Plant Notes: Clambering scandent epiphyte. Growing at base of tree trunk. Flowers in axillary clusters below leaves. Pedicels & calyx lobes orangish-red. Nectary a truncate gland on lower surface. Corolla tubular; orangish-red; apically pouched on upper surface. Immature fruit green. Mature fruit white and cone-shaped; when dehiscing with white reflexed valves; seeds embeddeded in fleshy orange funiculi. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
