Vegetative Morphology

Habit: Pseudobulbs ellipsoid, angular, to 2.5 x 1.4 in. (6.5 x 3.5 cm).

Reproductive Morphology

Inflorescence: Leaves 1--2, elliptic, acuminate, petiolate, thin-textured, to 9.7 x 1.9 in. (25 x 5 cm).

Flowers: Flowers 1--3, the sepals and petals green, the lip white with purple stripes at the base. Sepals and petals lanceolate, acuminate, with recurved apices, to 2.3 x 0.6 in. (6 x 1.5 cm), the petals erect and subparallel with the dorsal sepal. Lip obscurely three-lobulate, broadly ovate, obtuse, abruptly and minutely apiculate, highly variable in size to 2.1 x 1.9 in. (5.5 x 5 cm), the callus u-shaped, three-lobulate. Column arching, with the wings prominent, suborbicular, obtuse-rounded, with the clinandrial hood fimbriate, to 1 in. (2.5 cm) long.
